 Post subject: Video Card Problem Maybe

I have a Radeon 9600 XT in my machine,
I have a XP 3200+
Asus A7N8X-x
80 g hd
512 PC 3200 ram
I like to play Everquest alot and when I am playing my machine crashes with am error of video card has stopped working with accelerator. Or sometime it will just go into sleep mode and I cannot get out unless I reset the machine any kind help is appreciated.

Set your comp to never go to sleep(incontrol panel/power options) and make sure your screen saver is shut off before you start a game. I hope you don't have a Power Color video card...junk!

what are the temps at time of full load? What's your PSU, could be too little power? etc etc.

defintely we need more info in order for us to help you out. hopefully you dont have a powercolor card because many people have been having issues with them. try updating your drivers if you havent done that already. or you can try an older driver if you are using the updated ones.

make sure you have good cooling inside on your computer. both system cooling and the cooling of your videocard are important. try downloading a patch for the game if there are any patches.
