Hello All,

In a bit of a bind here. I need to find a video card splitter so I can attach 2 monitors to my 1 video card at work. The video card only has 1 VGA connector. Where can I find such an adapter? Does it exist?

Please help manager is breathing down my neck!

A. So you have need of two monitors displaying the exact same thing?

B. Or do you need to have a dual monitor setup?

For B your proposed solution won't work...

^ that's true. A video splitter will only duplicate your desktop to both screens. if you want to use 2 monitors for say design work, you need a videocard that supports 2 monitors. Most video cards made in the last 2 years do this, so you could pick up a $45 GeForce4 that should do it for you.

That is the problem, we can't change out the video card. Its a firm PC we have a DELL GX270 desktop, and not allowed to change out parts. Pretty much that is why I need some sort of spliter so I can add a 2nd monitor. Hope I am being clear.

So what do you need?

A splitter to show the same thing on each display?

See Khan's post

Or two displays with different stuff on each screen?

Won't happen.
