Anyone had an error popup on shutdown (Windows 7 or possibly Windows 8 as well) stating something along the lines that CSC.EXE has failed to load, or unload...
I'm pretty sure it's not a virus, but it gets annoying because sometimes it shows up when I shutdown my laptop, and other times, it doesn't. Someone once told me it has to do with either a damaged runtime library or possibly Windows Update. Others (online) have hinted that it may be related to "BitMeter" of which I know nothing about.
I've done various virus checks with various scanners, all came up with NOTHING. No malware (ran malware bytes), and have even done a full restore from a clean disc image, but the problem keeps coming back, so I'm thinking it's a software issue--just don't know what it could be.
I have a lot of productivity software on my laptop (Adobe CS6, Office, Solidworks, 3D Studio Max, etc), but no games, so I don't know if its related to one of them or Windows Update or what?
Any ideas on this? I don't have a screen shot right now, but if I can get one, I'll post it here.
