My brothers are looking at porn on my computer and they never shut it down. I don't want to tell on them but I don't want to get in trouble for it either. Occasionally my little cousins come over and are exposed to that nasty mess. This is really awkward. How can i block all porn sites for free?

If you use Firefox, FoxFilter seems to be the most popular one. If you have Chrome, WebFilter is their popular one. If you need something browser agnostic, take a look at http://lifehacker.com/5312820/five-best ... ring-tools

Also, make sure they're running standard user accounts in Windows. This limits what they can actually do as far as mucking with things.

As far as I am concerned, there is no perfect way to block porn on the internet with software. Computers might be awesome, however, they can't tell good sites from bad ones. Generally speaking, web filters always depend on blocking certain sites, or blocking websites by keywords. I search "block sites" it comes out Aobo filter and many... Maybe you can go for it.

You can go to your internet settings and set passwords and write certain websites as "blocked" so that you need the password to access them.

Password protect your primary account then set up a user account for them with parental controls enabled. That way you can have your access be unlimited and restrict theirs to only allow PG sites...you can also set a password for porn sites. I believe some of the free anti virus/malware programs out there can block such sites. I would recommend setting up a user account for the young ones anyway as it will somewhat protect them from such "vile" websites but will also help protect your PC if they happen to download a virus or some kind of malware.

Bruce

EDIT: Some routers allow setting up higher security in the settings so all questionable websites will be either blocked or require a password to get into.
