Hello all !

I need a bit of help, I had an old asus pc whose mb died a couple of weeks ago, so i finally purchased a new pc an fx6164 , nothing fancy just for daily house use.
Now i was worried that my hd would loose all photos, docs ect.
I was happy to see that the old hd works fine.
The new fx comes with windows 8, i had windows 7
When i tried to access the favorites bookmark thru windows 8 to do an export/ import it is not possible.
I plugged the old hd thru usb kit, I know the faves folder is in the old drive under users/home etc, but cannot find the old bookmark.htm file.
Any tip would help,
The second question is when i add the older wind7 hd to this new fx wind 8
Will it cause any conflict at boot up?
Both hd are internal sata 1tb the new is WD the old is seagate 1tb.
Thanks these seem like trivial questions, but any help would be appreciated.

which browser are you trying to get bookmarks from? its its IE, copying the old favorites and favorites bar folder into the new one should add them just fine.
if its chrome, on the old hd, go to driveleter:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default and copy the bookmarks.bak file. copy that to the same location on the new computer and if there is already a bookmarks file present, delete it and relaunch chrome, the favorites should show up then.

As for boot up issues, there shouldn't be any.
