This is what Warframe looks like on my PC right now. At first, there was a slight glitching every once in a while, like someone was messing with the video cable or something. Then the colors went insane. It's a DX11 title, but it does this in DX9 as well.

Windows 7 looks normal. All my other games look normal. It's just this one that is messed up. And it just happened today--game was working fine yesterday.

I've tried updating video drivers, verifying DX, uninstalling & reinstalling the game.

Notice that the static HUD elements and pop-ups all look normal.

Ever seen a bad video card screw with just one particular game before?

I wouldn't say the card is bad until you've checked this out with other people who play this game.

Graphics cards are very generic right now, so if it screws up on one game, chances are it'll screw up on something else too.

It also helps to know which card you're running

If it turns out to be the graphics card, I'll probably never buy another EVGA product. I've already returned one motherboard, had the network chip go out on the second, and now this?

Let's narrow things down...

  • Is it just this game or are there others?
  • Is the temperature of the video card fine?

Are you using an online system, like Steam or Origin? If so, which one?

So if it's just one software out of all the rest you've tried, then most likely it's the software, not the hardware.

Turns out some glitch caused the game to set its contrast to zero. Only other game I've seen act like that is Quake Live, which often resets volumes and screen sizes.

funny, evga is the only brand I will buy, never had one break, all of them back to the 8800gts still work even after years of folding for each of them, never even had a fan go out.

evga has always had kinda flaky motherboards not on my list of go to's.

I would second that. EVGA is the only brand I go to for NVIDIA boards if I can get one.

Yeah. All I use are EVGA Video cards. Tried on 1366 MOBO, but that wasn't that great. Stick with ASUS now for those.
