Hi Gamer,

More info

Does it just hibernate to fast? Do you use a USB mouse or keyboard? Or wireless with it?

My home machine has three pointers. Only one will "wake up" my machine. SO, if I am playing a game with the joystick, it sometimes goes to sleep on me.

You're wrong on one key point: it freezes on you at the end of when you're using it.

What exactly are you 'in the middle" of doing when it hibernates on you? Games? Normal computer usage? web surfing? using a USB mouse? unplugged/plugged? etc.

Manta's got a good point on this one. Check your power settings and see if anything is set to go to sleep during inactivity; for instance not having internet connected to it and then not using it for a few minutes will cause it to hibernate on you.

I suggest turning off hibernate entirely when your laptop is plugged in.

... ok, that still leaves many key points unresolved.

Would you mind commenting on those, first?
