My PC is used for gaming 98% of the time. I currently have no USB 3.0 or Firewire devices. On my last Windows install I disabled these controllers in the mobo settings. Is there any benefit to having these disabled?

Just curious... thanks!

No. The only benefit would be Windows/BIOS wouldn't spend time initializing them... but it doesn't really add any appreciable amount of time to the boot process anyway.
