Hello all,

I have a Dell Laptop ( I can be more specific if needed) and recently the auxiliary port where one plugs in his headphones has become finicky.

Its almost as if the headphone jack cannot reach the metal part inside the port because not all of the audio is being outputted.

Any tips or suggestions on how to fix would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks 8)

If it's become finicky as in you need to wiggle it or something, then the port is physically loose. You have to break it open and fix it yourself at this point.

Do you happen to have a way to fix it? As in a DIY method? Thanks

Other than open it up and check the connection or something? No.
