I will, Thanks for the help and replies from all. Today I placed the 1st order of the MOBO that was suggested by kleinkinstein and chaosdsm. It is the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3. I ordered it from NCIX.com. I will "will call" it tomorrow on the way to work. It will realistically be about 2 weeks before I gather the parts due to stretching purchases out over paydays and work.
Thanks again

This is a post in keeping my word to Nastyman, The new build from the ashes of the previous debacle has been successful. It took some as you can see fro the dates of the last post to now. It was done this last weekend and my boys are stoked  I just have to instal a few games and setup a few more things like "team speak" etc.
The MOBO that kleinkinstein and chaosdsm suggested was a great choice, the GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3. What I liked about it that there were no jumpers to fool with as far as setting preferences like sleep power on with keyboard and mouse etc. This can be done in the BIOS. My only small complaint is that the SATA plug ins are flat not sticking up or facing outward, no real big deal but I just had to be extra careful not to try and plug the cable in upside down. On the next build for my daughters PC I will simply put the cables in first before I mount the MOBO in the case. I bought another MOBO right after the 1st. My only real regret is how long it took to get this one going. Just work life and every other distraction
Thanks to everyone that helped with reply's and suggestions :D

Glad you got it working, BTW SATA cables are keyed so they cannot be installed the wrong way.

Yes they are, you are right, I had a bad experience when my twin boys forced the USB joystick cord in my IO panel on the front of my PC and rendering it useless after they tried to force it in upside down. I was just assuming the SATA port is fragile and didn't want a repeat
