I'm running a simple Windows P2P network (one machine with XP, the other ME) and need to update the virus defs on both (fully licensed, individual copies of NAV on both). Can this be done without two subscriptions? All the Symantec links seem to discuss their products for commercial clients, which isn't very helpful. They also want $30 to connect with their "live" tech support  . Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Tnx and cheers,

Doug

You're looking at manually updating your virus definitions.

I beleive what you're looking for is this...

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/av ... nload.html

I don't beleive it makes a difference if you're using a corp version or a home version.

With two computers though, I'm not so sure exactly what the point is.
