Hello
Well i upgraded to a MSI k8n neo platinum mobo, Amd 643200 (1megL2)
1gig of corsar pc3200 XMS, and a westerndigital raptor 37gig harddrive.
Newest bois update, newest mobo drivers from nividia and so on.

Now when i go online and play Call Of Duty, Mohaa, even StarwarsGalaxies it seems to freeze ( more in call of duty) for a sec or two and then goes right back to normal. I even bought a new Nic card tested my bandwith online at dslreports.com all normal there. I then clean system of all video card drivers (ATI 9700 pro is what i have) and then installed fresh 4.6 and it still does it. WinXP, SP1, all new drivers for everything on the computer. I really need some help figureing out why its doing this, when it did not ever do this on my old system
that was an Asus kt400 mobo, pc2700 mem 1 gig and a westerndigital 80gig with 8meg cach with an Amd 2800xp barton. if anybody can help with this thanks.
Jeremy

oh and i am not overclocking or anything like that.

Did you use the ATI uninstall utility to get rid of the old drivers? (AtiCimUn is the name of the uninstall utility)If you didn't you still had old drivers in the system. Did you delete the old ATI folder before installing the new driver? Did you have your anti-virus off when you installed and uninstalled the drivers? ATI tells you to shut it off for good reason.

Nasty

Well i think i fixed it. I installed 3.9 drivers for ATI and no freeze at all.
Looks like somebody ( ATI, Nvidia, MSI ) has a problem with the newer drivers for ATI cards.
