 Post subject: Windows 8 Extremely Slow / Unresponsive after Update

So, I received a free copy of Windows 8 for becoming accredited and I decided to install it as an upgrade on my main machine. It was working great for about 3 days then suddenly after an update and a reboot it takes forever to open anything and sometimes just stops responding. I can't even get task-manger open. I would really prefer to not wipe everything away and start over if at all possible.

Use a Restore point to before you updated windows and you should be good to go.
