After "stepping back a minute" I pulled the PCI SATA card out and put it back in the first slot I tried.
Then when I started the computer, I went into bios to turn off the SCSI controller on the mobo (I don't have any SCSI drives) and as the computer started, I saw it show the hard drive and card was detected. So I turned off the SCSI controller, and restarted. And its working?
It shows itself as a SCSI raid. The only thing I need to do now is format the drive. What was the command to type into the run line to do that....I've forgoten.
Sorry. This thing has been driving me nuts.
