Hey there,

Really can't wrap my head around this one.
Bought this print awhile ago for my mother to use as a cheap scanner, unfortunately lately when she goes to scan the coloration of the images is really off. The colors almost look inverted.
Now I have hooked the printer up to my computer, did my updates, downloaded the latest drivers (including the critical updates), and still get the same results.

Just had a thought too, searching right now for the answer, but does anyone know if this model uses LED lighting to scan? and how bright is it suppose to be?

Thanks

Since you installed the latest drivers and it still does it, it may be the machine itself that is dieing.

Have you tried it on another computer?

I'm starting to think the light for the scanner is dying, it seems a bit too dim. Do you know if the scanners that use LEDs instead of the long bulb are suppose to be just as bright as the long bulbs?

I am guessing the leds would be a hell of a lot brighter.
