Maximum PC

I recently had to reinstall win7 on my SSD drive today, well that is not working out like it should be.

The problem is it would only work on one computer, two of my computers couldn't do it through USB. I really cannot figure out why it's not working on other computer other than the one in the kitchen. I am quite irritated and I am gonna have to take a break and see what the wonderful forms come up with.

You can't boot Windows through USB.

I had the USB stick out of the other pc and it worked, why is in when it's in my pc's it doesn't?

Next time, be clear with what you're trying to do, because my 80% sureness guess on what you're trying to do is install Windows from a thumbdisk.

So there's really only two things about this:

• The computer can't boot from a USB disk (this is only a problem if the computer is older than dirt)
• You haven't specified either through BIOS or a menu to boot from the thumbdisk.

I should still reiterate that you cannot boot an actual Windows install from a thumb disk or thumb drive.

Well technically there is a way, but it requires 5 other things, one of them being a Windows 2008 R2 ISO.
