I am not entirely sure if this belongs here, but does anyone know of a good hard drive wiping program? My friend wants
to wipe his hard drive from an old laptop and sell it on e-Bay.

This is about as secure as it gets, it's free, and it works. No more worrying about strangers pulling data from a formatted hard drive.
