This sounds like a newbie question...but I ain't a newbie,& i sure don't know/can't find the answer-fix.

Hopefully someone here will know...

For the last 2 weeks all my Inbox mail in Hotmail disappears within minutes,going directly to the trash.
That's ALL emaills....from new folks, from long-time (& re-verified) safe senders...even from me,from any of my 3 email addresses (including from me at my own hotmail address!)

What I've done:-
1. verified phenomena on multiple computers.
2. Verified it happens to 100% of emails from anyone
3. Looked up-n-down every conceivable hotmail option or filter...i can't find any option or filter that was cause this mal-behaviour; and I sure can't find a filter or option that removes this behaviour.

I'm near at the point of stopping using Hotmail all together.

for the record,if a mail has gone to trash I can then move it to the inbox,verify its gone to the inbox...
...and then the next time I fire-up Hotmail its back in the trash again.

The only thing I can think of is make sure you don't have a virus on your system but honestly I have no other suggestions.

I appreciate you gave it some thought...thanx for trying.
Because its reproducible on about 5 computers (3 of which I don't even own) I'm sure its not a virus...but thanx for trying.
Coincidently (not from this) in the last 2 days I checked the 2 computers of the 5 noted I do own,& AVG reveals no virus.I'll wait to see if anyone else can figure this out...

I'd contact Microsoft about this also. This may have happened before and they may have an answer.

I guess to be clear...are you using the web client or something like thunderbird or outlook to access hotmail?

I'm using a web client...either IE or Firefox.
I did take the prior suggestion & wrote an inquiry to the Hotmail forums...we'll see if any reply comes (none yet)....except a form-reply to a POP folder (I don't even use POP forwarding,though I did once,but not in the last 4-6 months).
