i just got my new cpu (i7 2600k) today along with a motherboard (ASUS P8Z68 deluxe) to go with it. I just got done putting my system all back together. Once i was all done, i powered it on via motherboard power button. once i booted up my computer my graphics card ramped all the way up for about 5 seconds with no video output, then my system shuts off. and then in about another 5 seconds my system boots up again without my doing and would continue this cycle if i would let it, which i dont. Any help will be much appreciated. THANKS

CPU: Intel i7 2600K
Graphics card: EVGA GTX 570 x 2
RAM: 12gb corsair vengeance
SSD: Ocz Vertex 2
HDD: WD 1TB caviar black

You can't put your old windows install in a new motherboard environment and expect it to work. You will need to format the drive and reload windows with all the latest drivers and it will run fine.

If you didn't back everything up like you should have before starting, try loading windows into safe-mode and take your important data off the drive. Then format...ectra...

Are you only running 3 sticks of ram? 12GB is an odd combo for a none x58 chipset board. The z68 likes dual channel configs, so you should populate 2 or 4 slots at the same time. If you choose to populate all 4 slots, all the ram should be the same speed, vender and density (buy in a 4 stick kit is best).
