Hi all,

I seem to be having an irritating problem here; Ever since I installed Hamachi (which now, I have uninstalled), I have been having internet problems. I was only using Hamachi for this game called "Synergy", a Half-Life 2 mod, and no the game is not cracked or pirated and same applies to my Half-Life 2 game itself. I tried reinstalling it and removed any user setting that was applied. Nothing happened, I tried restarting my router countless times, still nothing. Every time I play a game online, ever 10-20 minutes, maximum 30 minutes, my internet shuts off for at least 30 seconds. Not only does it cause lag for me but it also kicks me out off of some games like battlefield 3. I have googled any possible solution and seems like people are having this same problems but no solution. This is my last stop before I go nuts because I can't play a proper game without my internet shutting off and getting me kicked off in some games.

Please may anyone assist me?

How are you playing BF3 ... through Origin? .... and you are still being cut off the Internet?

Do you have a firewall and did you give permission for Hamachi to go through along with Origin?

Only use the portal you need to play a game and shut off all others like Steam and Origin if playing through Hamachi.

Do you have the latest drivers loaded for your nic card or wifi card/stick?

If you uninstall Hamichi and every game works well on the internet, then Hamachi is not compatible with Origin or Steam, if you run them.

Well no, I only used Hamachi to play Synergy. I'm playing BF3 through Origin and directly to my actual internet. And as stated, every 10-30 minutes, my internet shuts off for a few seconds to a minute causing me to get kicked off in-game (BF3). I have a firewall (windows Firewall) and it is allowing all connections through or with Origin.

Have you updated the firmware in the router?

Does your ISP throttle your connection, find out, that may be part of the problem.

Well I tried finding some firmware update for the 2-wire 2701hg-b but found none. Also throttle, you mean like tamper?

No, slow down or make the band width amount you get not what you are paying for, as in smaller.

I have an At&T 2wire 2701HG-B modem/router btw.

Have you tried using the Restore Option to go back to before you installed Hamichi? If not give it a try and let us know if it worked.
