I did it a few hours ago.

If you find me annoying, then DON'T ENGAGE. The more you react, the more fun it is to annoy you.

I'm losing no sleep, nor am I getting angry; I'm quite calm actually... But nog is just unexpectedly trolling/shitting diarrhea information when I'm trying to counter troll and set him right. It's like trying to stop a stinking ship with a spoon.

It's hard not to rebuttal to all the BS he starts rambling on since we all know he's full of it. Half the time he says some BS just to say it and join the comment wagon.

I'm not trying to start a fight...

You've been wrong before and stuck to your guns (Remember the "eidetic memory" argument?). If you do that, then why am I not allowed to do it?

First of all, the dude was trolling the shit out of me if you couldn't tell because he thought I was saying I was a savant, unlike his two friends (whoopie freaking doo... ). He believed he knew more about the subject because of his relationships to those said friends, giving him an incite to a source population size of 2.

I still think that my higher than average visual acuity with memory recall is a form of photographic memory, just not on the savant level (no matter how I put it, I'm not that special, just above average). And I explicitly stated this in my original post. He did make the case that I either had it or not... no various levels of what would classify photographic memory and that's his opinion; I still have mine.

No research was done, all complete bullshit anyhow, but in the end, it was easier to just recant my original statement and redefine it so he could just shut the hell up. He's not a trained clinical doctor on the subject, neither am I.

And yes... my one "wrong" totally makes up all the 100's of BS crap you have spilled in the last 6 months.

Computer, define "Eidetic Memory".
Quote:
the ability to recall images with vividness bordering on actual visual perception; total recall; also called photographic memory
Example: Eidetic memory, to use the clinical term, is the ability to recollect an image so vividly that it appears to be real.

Thank you.

As you can see, the term "Eidetic Memory", which you used several times, implies a "savant level" as you put it.

There were two mistakes, the second being in a field where I know nearly nothing, namely, the buying of property. You said that you did not get a house inspection until after the sale.

I have never said that I gain knowledge through association. I am not a telepath, or even an empath. I am not superhuman. I am above average in math, but that's because I choose to work hard at it, not because of any innate ability. This forum is used by me as an excuse to research problems and learn as I help people. I am wrong at times, and correct at others, like all humanoids of the species Homo Sapiens.

Yes, Eidetic memory is also known as photographic memory, but whose to say that there isn't various levels of visual memory recall? Being and implied are two separate states. There's probably a lot of case studies on this instead of just trying to quote the dictionary or you beloved research database, aka wiki. The problem with that whole conversation, no one did any; was a pissin match from the start.

I did not say this... I asked this in regards to buying a foreclosed home since I was not knowledgeable on buying one or if it was any more different that buying a normal listing home. Besides, you got trolled and flammed in that thread for being annoying and stupid.

And seriously, STFU, take this shit to PM's if you want. I'm done with this thread.

Unfortunately, it started anyway. :(

Both of you need to straighten up I am over warnings If I have to I will give both of you a 3-day ban then we can see how nice both of you can be. I am all for a good debate but you guys are really taking it to a whole other level. From this day forward consider this a warning. If one of you feels like acting like the adult and either ignoring the other or getting another mod involved to help that is the way to go. Both of you are dragging this out. Nog, be done with the senseless banter and the back and forth BS
JB, I know you feel the need to comment on a lot and that is fine but let others voice there views as well. We all bring something to the table whether it's small or larger we are on a public forum and as such it does require a certain level of maturity so that is what I will expect.
Are we good now?
