Both Trend Micro and MS Security Essentials find this malware but neither can remove it. Frustrating since Trend keeps popping up with a notice/found window. I can't find a solution anywhere. Any advice on how to nix this baddie?

Did you look at this page: http://about-threats.trendmicro.com/Mal ... M_MEYLME.B? HKTL_PASSVIEW is an alias for WORM_MEYLME.B?

It appears that their proposed solution would keep one busy for a while...

Have you tried removing all restore points, and then run malwarebytes in safe mode with networking (so it can download its updates), that should get rid of the infection.
