I have decided to try just one more time to install windows 7. Every time I do I get the BSOD. I have been unable to install it on different HD and the SSD, as well as a new disk drive. I have also checked the ram which came up with no errors. I also tried installing Ubuntu which gave me the following error: MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO_APIC

Hope someone can help.

My system

COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000
Microsoft Windows 7 64bit
AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 2.6 Processor Socket 939 -- NOT OC'd
ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe Bios 1805
2 GB Corsair CMX512-3200C2PRO DDR RAM
SSD Vertex 2 120gb
Sony DVD RW DRU-810
GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB

Let me try ti install it again and see......

.....this is what I got:
Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

Stop: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFF900BF14E3D8, 0x000000000000001, 0xFFFFF96000103E36, 0x0000000000000002)

This time it's a different stop. Always a different number. I tried installing the 32 and 64 bit. Same issues.

That BSOD is almost always related to memory. Run memtest and see what it tells you.

I did run memtest. No errors were found. I have reset the bios and taken out the battery. I think the mobo is dead.

That is an old motherboard, look at the electrolytic caps and see if they are split, leaking or bulged....if so dead motherboard.
