Maximum PC

About 2 weeks ago A trojan found its way past Microsoft Essentials. It wreaked havok on my system. Since then Ive Wiped both my SSD(O.S.) and HHD(storage) and reinstalled windows 7 64bit. But my Internet explorer 9 is having problems. Its stops working and say a malicious or damaged software is causing the problem. Somtimes let me in after numerous trys, like now. And often wont start at all. All my software is up to date and I even upgraded to Nortons premium security service. Scanned with both Malware bytes, Norton, and b4 Norton did a sweep with Essentials. then upgraded to Norton. Nothing found
Norton did catch a couple cookies from Battlefield play for free. Could my browser be the problem eventhough Ive just reinstalled that too?

Try uninstalling IE9 and reinstalling IE8, if it works, you know it is IE9 that is causing the problems.

Go inside internet/tools/options/advanced/reset browser settings.

It may bring it back-usually these virus block you from the internet to pay for
there spam anti-virus to get your credit card number-but this might help.

My sister in law got one-I removed it and did this and it worked.

Ive not only reset internet settings. But switched over to firefox4. Ill let you all know there are any problems.

Most of the time that I see IE (or any other browser) barf on launch, it's due to one (or more) faulty add-ons (browser extentions) that are making it puke.
So, try running IE in 'no add-ons mode' (you can find it in the Start menu - just typeinternet explorer at the searchbox), and see if it behaves itself.
Work now? Start enabling add-ons (and, maybe, simply uninstall ones that you recognize as flat-out useless), and recheck functionality as you go. You'll know when you find the broken one, as IE will again puke on launch when you enable it.

I know you said you went to FF; but, I really hate leaving things broken....
