Ok, I installed a new motherboard a few days ago switch from and soyo to an asus p4p800s. I installed all of the drivers got all of the windows updates. I was browsing the web and all of the sudden my system crashed and I get a blue screen. One of my device drivers is causing my system to crash? I need some help thanks-

ok i think more info is needed for us to help you. can you see the blue screen error message that you are getting? list your hardware devices and ill see what i can do to help you out. for me, a fresh install of windows for better performance is essential when it comes to switching mobos.

I did a fresh install of xp and all of the motherboard drivers. I went to device manager and I didn't see any problems there.

Did you format the drive or just install over it?

If it blue screens again, write down the stop code. It's toward the bottom, and it will look like this:
0x0000xx and there will be a bunch more that look like that, but you really only need the first one.

Can you pause that screen???? When I see one, it's up long enough for me to see a pen and paper, and is gone way before I even flinch to grab them :p There's so much writing on those things it's hard to get anything out of them so quick.

I formatted the hardrive NTFS did a fresh install the sreen pauses I have to actually restart the computer. I going to have to wait until my computer crashes again to write the code down.

Mine stays up until I physically reset the machine...the few times I've needed it anyway
Same thing on our laptop. I was having a problem with some wireless card drivers last week, as soon as I stuck the card in, it would BSOD.

CHUMLY: to get your BSODs to stay, open up your System Properties and go to the Advanced tab. Click on Startup and Recovery. In the "System Failure" area uncheck the Automatically Reboot box.

I think X-Setup also has an option to extend the time before it reboots.

Ok, mt system crashed again. Here is what it said stop: 0x000000dk0x01f26100, 0x00000001, 0xf825d908 NetR33x.sys - Address f825d908 base at f8424d0000, datestamp 3ecdaf93 beginning dump of physical memory. Ok, does any body know what the message mean? Thanks-

What were you doing at the time to make it crash? Do you have a D-link or realtek card? If so, update the drivers: ftp://152.104.125.40/cn/wlan/rtl8180l/winxp-8180(166).zip

See if those will fix the issue... upon my googling, I found that POGO games can cause this type of error sometimes; do you have anything like that running?

I have a d-link wireless pci card I'm going to try to update the drivers and see if that works. Thanks-
