Maximum PC

Hi ya all Gurus of software:Help me. After installing Internet Explorer 10, my home page [xfinity.comcast.net/] never wants to load. I had the same prob. w/ IE 9.I could not get back to IE 8 since my pc does not take IE 8.Please see the prob.below the line

SONY VAIO VGN-FZ430E;240GB HD;3 GB RAM;Processor Intel 1.83 GHz; OS Windows 7 Pro Serv. Pack 1.; Internet-Cable connection, DownLoad Speed:fast 24+ mbps;

Please help me.
If possible I would like to get rid of IE all together. I am on internet on Google Chrome browser.

You could try this:

go to:

tools-----> Internet Options---> Select the Advanced tab ----> Reset

wait for the operation to complete then shut down and restart your internet explorer.

Found the above on the IE forum.

You should be able to uninstall IE10 using the Programs and features section in Control Panel.

Nasty

Your signature says you're using Win 7. I didn't think IE10 could be used with Win 7, but if you want to get rid of IE , check your windows updates and find IE there and uninstall it from the list. If you're using Chrome, why not just ignore IE completely and set Chrome as your default browser?
