Hello there, In need of a little assistance.
Since I changed out my ram, my computer doesn't start from using the power button. ( I have verified correct ram, timing, voltage, etc). I press the power button and the computer turns on, but never displays anything on the monitors so I have no idea what state it is in. Looking at the mobo I can see an E1 code in red.
I press restart and it will boot up like it's supposed to. After googling the issue, some people got theirs fixed by replacing the cmos battery (CR2032). I have a fresh cmos battery in there but that didn't do the trick for me so I still have the same problem.
Does any of the experts here have a possible solution I could try? Thanks so much for your help.
Need some more info...
You say "MY COMPUTER."...... Is it a laptop? Do you know what mobo it is? Can you tell me what type of memory you had and what you changed to? How do you see the E1 code?
Just stuff that might help the experts.
