How about trying the computer in Windows accessories. It has a conversion calc built in.
Or is that too easy?

Easily done in Windows 7 as can be seen here, however, that little chunk of software was written long before Windows 7 or for that matter Vista. Originally written for Windows XP which lacked the functionality of the Windows 7 calculator. :)

Thanks Jip. Yeah. the 41 is correct but the 15 should be -15. I did edit my original post to reflect I used it on Windows XP and Vista.

I really appreciate you taking the time to download and run it as well as post the screen shot. Thanks a bunch.

Ron

No way 41F would be -15c. 0c is 32F. 41F would be 5c.

I like the built in google converters. I also use an app for android called convertpad https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mathpad.mobile.android.wt.unit&hl=en that is just awesome, it will convert anything you can think of and into unit measures both common and very uncommon.

Here's a quiz: what temperature is the same in both Celsius and Fahrenheit?

I think it's -40 as -40C and -40F are the same.
