 Post subject: Overclocking a 9200

I have a radeon 9200 and i got the omega drivers for overclocking. The core is currently at 249 and the memory is at 200 how foar could i safely overclock this and still be save?

hey,for a fairly safe bet, stay within 10% on each.run 3dmark or similiar to see if there are any artifacts..( dots, black spots etc), while you test it. if not you might want to crank it up a few more mhz on each until you start gettin arties.then put it back to your prev setting. then run a game for a while just to make sure. i also have this card on my sons comp, but am getting ready to replace the passive hs for a real deal.the hs gets real warm real quik!!!! let me know how it works out for you.


oh yeah, currently have my sons card at 265/220.....a little improvement in 3dmark03 pays off enuf to leave it at this setting!!

hey thanks for the advise about overclocking it but....... how do i get 3dmark?
