my new system that I am going to build:

P4 3.4 LGA775
Asus P5AD2 Premium
Crucial Ballistix 1gb 667mhz-DDR2
2-WD Raptor 36.7 gb in RAID-0
1-Hitachi 7200 rpm SATA 80 gb
Liteon 16x dvd-r dual drive black
Sony 52x cdr black
Microsoft combo wirless mouse/keyboard
480W Antec ATX v2.0 'NeoPower' PSU
Coolermaster Praetorian (PAC-T01-E1) Silver
eVGA 6800 gt ( with doom3)
Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 19in

now... I want to push this system to the max but without any water cooling or liquid nitrogen.

what cpu/video/northbridge coolers should I get? This asus motherboard allows you to keep the pci-e bus at a constant speed right? And I heard an updated bios allows u to somewhat unlock the multiplier on the Intel? is this right???

i will pay up to 100 dollars on cooling. thanks

two things are limiting you here. A.) your limit of only 100 bux for cooling and B.) your unwillingness to look at water cooling. What I reccomend is that the systm you are planning seems more than good enough for a while here, so build it and wait to do any over clocking until you absolutely feel it necessary.

alright... thanks for replying

well because the ultra cards are not out in pci-e form im gonna wait till those come out and do the overclocking then... how much would it take to cool the 3.4 to lets say 4.0ghz? water cooling? 150 dollars? im pretty sure the memory can take it...the ultra cards can tehy take it tho? I can keep the pci-e bus at 100mhz right usin this motherboard?

thanks a lot...

i think u should be able to hit 4.0Ghz. i dont think youll need watercooling. but if you wanted to get higher get either: A) strong fans B) watercooling. if youre doing air cooling then dont cheap out on fans. itll be a mistake. get fans with a good warrenty or whatever you can get. you may have a little trouble even w/ strong fans getting 4ghz though. i just think u might be able to.
