OK, i have a BFG tech ti4200, and i think my fan is dying, makes funky noises when i play far cry for a bit, and its def the fan on the card. I cant just remove it b\c it seems to be glued on. Is there anyway i can remove it? I dont want to have to trash the thing, its a good card, and i cant afford anything new right now period.

There is th old trick of freezing the card, thus making the glue easier to remove. I have not done this personally, but I have heard that it works. On old card that I am throwing away, the glue seems to just twist off with a little bit of force, but i Have not tested the card after.

The safest rought might be to instal a decent card cooder in the adjacent slot.
