I've got one of my 2400+'s up to 2.2 from stock 2.0. temp is at about 41-42 at full load. Will push it further tomorrow after a full burn in today.

I have a p4 2.4C @ 3.2GHz. I am using a Zalman 7000-cu HSF. Mobo is Abit IC7-G MAX II. I could go higher if RAM wasn't holding me back just a tad. Its 512x2 Performance OCZ DDR500

I had my Pentium 4 Extreme Edition du-jour over clocked to 100 GHz with the motherboard submerged in a tank of liquid nitrogen. I managed to get 500 fps in Doom 3 before my system created a tear in hyperspace, disappeared into a black hole and has never been seen since. Word has it that an online gamer named "Satan" has commandeered my computer.

This is all true...honest!

What RAM do you have? DDR533? I couldn't kick my DDR400 over 450MHz. Then again, you have a Venice. I've got the original Winchester.

Nice clock!

FX-55 San Diego.
1.4875 volts
2.8 GHz.
Completely stable even in a room that was at 90F.
The PROC runs at 35C idle and has goon as high as 52C under heavy load, I mean BF2 for 4 hours.

Ggggeeeessssssshhhhhh........You guys are going to kill your A64s, such high voltages are not good. But then again, are those screenies just for show or do you guys "actually" run your processors at that speeds?

I run mine @ 4.0ghz & 1.33V, I know I'm not going to damage it, as long as I don't go above 1.45v. No need for CPU-Z, anyone can OC like that and get a screenie.

I keep this screenie just for show: @ 4.2GHZ & DDR2 1000

nice but i don't really work my X2 proc that much. i checked with dad this morning and it's running 500MHz faster on EACH CORE. which is good. 1 GHz faster i would guess. but doesn't really help with games. also i have another one: AMD FX-57 running fast as heck! according to what i saw on newegg about my proc running from max safety limit of 1.4V to 1.55V. also it's a san diego core.

I typically don't run 3GHz since it takes too much voltage, so below is my sig for daily operations and gaming:

AMD64 3000+ Venice 0517APJW 2.9GHz 1.55V with removed IHS
XFX Geforce 7800GTX 256MB OC 520/1400 on air 3DMark05=9072
DFI LP UT SLI-DR Rev AB0 Bios 623-2
Thermaltake Big Typhoon with 120mm Antec 2200RPM fan 29C/39C
Enermax Noisetake 600W SLi 2.01
Mushkin Redline 4000 2-2-2-6-T1 264MHz 3.5V Yellow Slots
Western Digital 74GB Raptor
Antec SLK3700AMB slightly modded for better airflow
