Im almost 50-50 w/ amd and Intel, but it mught be more around 69 Intel-40 amd now.....but i agree X_ArchAngel. I love Asus!!

Apparently Intel has unlocked a multiplier on the Prescotts. What I have heard is that Intel did this purposely for heat reasons. When there is low demand on the proc it can revert to a lower multi and produce less heat.

Asus is taking advantage of this by allowing you to select the lower multi in the bios.

Sadly it only works for 3.2E, 3.4E in 478 and the LGA775 pressies.

Maybe one day Intel will learn to unlock the multi on all its procs for us tweakers.
