Hello everyone!
I am new here but I do have a lot of experience in building computers.. I'm here today to ask a very important question about what I built and what is going on with it.

Computer Specs as follow:
CPU - FX-6300 (OC @4.7ghz)
RAM - 32gbs Gskill RipJaws
GPU - Sapphire R9 270X
Mobo - M5A97 R2.0
PSU - Rosewill 750w Gold (x2)
Monitor - Dell 24" 1080p
Cooling - 360mm @80mm thick (x3)

Lets get to the point of why I'm here..
I built this computer less than 2 months ago. I've been having some issues with horizontal waves on my monitor. I put everything back to stock speeds and nothing changed. I was told it was the monitor so I replaced it from a 32" down to a 24". Problem is still the same. Others tell me it's my GPU so I changed it from a HD 7770 to a R9 270x. Again problem is still there.. So a "Specialist" told me it was my PSU's.. So I bought 2 Rosewill 750w Golds (x2). Still have the same problem I started with. I'm not sure but I never replaced the cord from my monitor to my GPU. At the moment I have VGA to DVI adapter. Was thinking if I used a DVI to DVI cable if this would solve the issue..? Any thoughts??

Thanks!

Replacing the cable should've been #1 or #2 on the list of things to do. So yeah, go change that.

The four most common causes of this malfunction that I have found are:

1. Monitor Cable not plugged in correctly
2. Dirty Cable Connectors
3. Bad VGA-DVI Adapter
4. Bad Cable
