How will the use of a VGA affect graphics? Is the graphics card overkill for the screen dimension? What about with the addition of another monitor?

The stock cooler may be enough for overclocking, but you can easily find great coolers for $30-$40. And there's no issue with using an adapter and the resolution isn't overkill given the graphics card.
