As a gamer trying to get into graphic design, I'm trying to up my PC game a little.
Finally got a build with pcpartpicker.com I want to stick with, but I had some questions.
The site pointed me to the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 mobo, but it didn't show the Z97.
I was wondering if the Z97 is incompatible or the site isn't updated for it yet.
I had also read about some parts being incompatible with the Haswell Processor and being the PC noobie I am, I have no idea what that means.
Also, if there are better parts for the same price, some advice would be amazing. Thanks!

Nah, I'm pretty sure that proc would work with Z97, but it doesn't matter, you don't need it. The Z87 chipset will be fine. It looks like Z97 is more for support of the newer chips Intel has coming out.
