I'm looking for a good mechanical keyboard that's great for everyday typing/coding as well as occasional FPS gaming. After doing research I'm leaning towards blue cherry mx switch type keyboards. Well brown too if I have no other choice..
One problem tho, I really want keyboard to have at least 3 dedicated extra buttons (i.e. F13-F14) to lunch apps like notepad, calc and cmd. Mute volume is a plus, but as long as I don't have to use modifier Fn key (i.e. Fn+F2). So far I couldn't locate one, am I asking for too much? :) Does anyone knows such keyboard?

1. Windows has a built-in custom keyboard shortcut mechanism
2. Pin apps to the task bar and use Windows + [number] to launch/switch to it.

As long as it's under $200 I think I can tream myself :) Thanks man, those are great! I like Razer a lot! Backlight was also on my wishlist :)

I have that Corsair K95, and it is an amazing keyboard. The key-strokes a little loud, but I wear headphones, so it's not an issue for me.

I just ordered Ducky Zero DK2108 with blue MX switches. It actually has 3 extra buttons, just what I needed. Unfortunately no back-light, but $86 it's fine :)
Looks like got it just in time, they had 4 in stock today, and now they have none...
