to be very frank dont think so its a good budget for a gamers laptop specially with 5 hours plus battery life, im saying by my own experience but you may look for a gamers PC in this price range and im sure you will be happy with that.

Eh. Alienware 14 or ASUS G750JW.

I have the G750JW, it'll last 6 hours... if you're just going on the internet. You can't find a laptop that'll last more than 3 hours gaming if that's what you were hoping for OP.

5+ Hours battery life WHILE GAMING doesn't exist - mine has "5+ hours battery life" (ASUS N550JV-DB72T).... while I can get that running spreadsheets, I get at best 1 1/2 hours of Skyrim on battery, online gaming will be even shorter.

But xotic PC has quite a few of the good gaming options listed
http://www.xoticpc.com/custom-gaming-la ... 96_98.html

If you go for a 1080p display, you'll probably want at least a GT 760M or GT 860M graphics card even though a 750/850 will give better battery life. I have the 750M, and it struggles with some games like FarCry 3 & Tomb Raider 2013 - medium settings & still get mild stuttering in very heavy action on the 750M.

EDIT... if you buy from them... DO NOT get the copper cooling upgrade. They just stick a couple 1cm square copper RAM sinks onto the heatpipes with tape & they will likely come loose eventually. A highly conductive material sliding around inside a laptop.... two of the 4 they put in mine came loose & I've owned it for only 8 months, & it only leaves the desk twice a week when I go to my CCNA classes.
