Hey everyone.

First of all i would like to introduce myself. My name is Grant, i am 20 years of age living in England.

Ok now im a complete newbie when it comes to computer specs, i wouldn't have a clue what i am looking at, which is why i have come here to see if i can get some help for you experts :)

I am looking to spend between $300 - $450 on a custom PC build, the reasons the margins are ''low'' is because i am currently saving to go out to Australia for a year :D so yeah very tight budget! before i start i would also like to add that i am a gamer, i play xbox 360 so not looking to game on a computer so to speak, also i record gameplay's with the Roxio HD Pro, then edit and upload to youtube.

The run down:- What i would like is a PC that is capable of Editing my captured gameplays, Recording, and also livestreaming to Twitch and Youtube. i do not have the recommend specs for these, but for livestreaming which i would imagine was the main one, i have been told this which i will type now...

Optimal (for HD Multi-Bitrate Streaming)

Quad Core i7-2600 series CPU or better
8GB RAM
5Mbps or better upload bandwidth
Dedicated video card, 512MB VRAM
Windows Vista / Windows 7

I do not understand hardly any of this but what i do know is that my upload speed is perfectly fine, it averages around 12Mbps.

I hope i have covered everything in this post, basically though i need help right from the bottom, what CPU i should go for, motherboard, graphics card, ram, you know, all the components i would need to do the Editing, Recording, Livestreaming with as much ease as possible.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help me out :)

Grant

Ok guess quick update because this post took a while to approve, i have a new target price, i realised that to build a good editing - livestream pc it simply has to be good lol.

so i am actually willing to go up to lets say around $1300 now, that is a big difference right? things is i do not actually have a limit, but i don't want to be spending like crazy because this will be my first pc build, if i need to upgrade at a later date then i can do that.

$1300 will be the target, any cheaper? then great! :)

Thanks All!

Question, does your capture card capture on-screen stuff from the PC? Otherwise you might want to invest in a capture card that does (I believe http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6815100100 does the trick).

I mean can your capture card capture what's being displayed on the computer as well? This is mostly just so you can free up the CPU from the job.
