So, at some point in the latter half of this year, I'll be doing a CPU/MB/RAM/GPU upgrade. I just replaced my old HDDs with an SSD and a 4tb WD Black for storage as phase one of this slow upgrade cycle.
While there's no rush for the case, and in fact it might be easier in the long run if I saved the case until I was doing everything else at the same time, I found a case that I really liked at Fry's and I wanted some opinions on it... it's the Corsair Vengeance C70
. I really like it, and I'm fighting the urge to buy one right now and move my computer into it.
Does anyone have any experience with this case, and in particular, knowledge of how quiet it is? I like to keep my rigs as quiet as possible... my current build has two front fans, two exhaust fans, and two blowholes, all Vantec Stealth fans, and coupled with the PC Power & Cooling Silencer PSU, it's fairly quiet.
Of course, the CPU/MB I wind up using may not even be available right now, so the case needs to be functional with anything on the reasonable horizon. This one is, as far as I can tell.
So, any feedback on the C-70?
Also, if there are any super-quiet case fans these days that are better than the rest, I'd be interested in those, too...
