Old school RPG-er... Baldur's Gate style... Latest ones that seem to fit the bill are Elder Scrolls series, Witcher series, Dragons Age, etc.
Also remote connect for work (Professor, just need to remotely control office PC. Should be cake).

Solid build. Don't see any incompatibilities. Were you looking for some specific advice? Cost cutting measures?

Just my opinion, but I'm not a big fan of that C70 case. I saw it in person, and while I like the military theme, this case just seemed too tacky.
