 Post subject: A query about discrete sound cards

Why is it that there are absolutely NO add-in sound cards that contain a USB port for headsets that use them? I know that there would probably be some problems if anyone decided to stick a flash drive or something into said port, but since there are so many USB headsets... I don't know. It's a mystery to me, and any help in solving/explaining it would be appreciated.

Because USB headsets are self-contained "sound cards" as far as the OS is concerned.
