Been building computers for the past 20 years, but never had any experience with Intel HD graphics (integrated into CPU). This time however I'm building PC (for relatives) on a tight budget and using Intel Core i3-3220 on ASUS H61M-A without dedicated card.
How does Intel integrated video work? Will I be able to see BIOS screen if I plug in monitor into into motherboard's DVI port or do I still need to have PCIe card to do initial build? I'm asking because I don't have spare video card at the moment :(

You should be able to just connect the DVI and go.
