Looking for some advice form more experienced users. I currently have a single NVIDIA GTX 680 with a factory OC from Zotac. Wanting/wondering what the upgrade options are. Currently thinking about adding a second, identical GPU. OR upgrading to the current gen card.

System specs are:
Case- NZXT Switch 810
CPU- AMD Vishera 8350 @4Ghz
RAM- 4x4gig Vengeance memory
GPU- Zotac NVIDIA GTX 680
MOBO- ASUS Sabertooth 990 FX Rev. 2.0
PSU- Corsair HX 850
SSD- Kingston Hyper X3 120gig
HDD- Seagate Barracuda 2tb

Any and all help is appreciated,

Thanks

I'm not sure you need another/better GPU setup as the 680 is still a top notch card. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, PM me and I'll give you an address to send the check. :)

To answer your question, I would suggest the second 680: a 690 is about 5-10% slower than SLI'd 680s; a Titan is about 5-10% slower than a 690; and a 780 is about 15% slower than a Titan.

690/Titan = $1000
780 = $650
680 = $450

Hope this helps.

I concur, you don't really need an upgrade at the moment. If you're not driving your games higher than 2560x1600, then upgrading doesn't really do much. Will it buy you better framerates? Sure. Except anything above 60FPS (or 144, if you have one of those monitors) is pointless since the image starts tearing.
