So its finally time for me to upgrade with BF4 around the corner. Gonna reuse a few parts from my current rig. I would appreciate any suggestions/advice. Also not sure what monitors to get. I am currently using 2 Samsung T190's. They are working fine but wouldn't mind a better screen to go with the better GFX card.

Also stuck between the 4670K and the 4770K.

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K ~ $200

or

Core i7 4770K ~ $280

CPU Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro series H60 ~ $65

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD4H ~ $145

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600 (Reusing current)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233299

GFX Card: SAPPHIRE 100351SR Radeon HD 7970 ~ $325

Monitor: Unsure, any suggestions?

Soundcard: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer (Reusing current)

SSD: SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD256BW 256GB ~ $240
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147193

HDD: 2x WD 640GB in Raid 0 + WD 1TB Backup drive (Reusing current)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136319

Optical Drive: LG DVD Burner (Reusing current)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136167

PSU: Corsair TX750W (Reusing Current)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006

Case: Thermaltake SOPRANO ~ $114
http://www.microcenter.com/product/404952/Silent_Soprano_Mid_Tower_ATX_Computer_Case

Total = $1088 or $1169

Update 1: Changed CPU and MOBO
Update 2: CPU Cooler
Update 3: GFX Card

Go with the Core i5-4670K and I'd go with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 instead of the H50, because I feel like water cooling, unless you're doing heavy overclocking, really buys much.

As for monitors, find a relatively cheap IPS monitor. I know ASUS makes one. Otherwise the only one I can recommend since I use it Dell's U2412M.

Thanks for the reply.

Im definitely leaning towards the i5 now and I plan on doing a little overclocking. Not too much, but I also am going for a quieter system with this build which is why I chose the water cooling.

Thanks for the monitor input, will start looking at some IPS monitors.

Water cooling doesn't automatically grant you a quieter system. You still have a fan and now you've added a pump into the mix. Also in my experience, CPU fan noise is not the source noise during a loaded system, it's usually the GPU.

Parts ordered and ended up going with the Hyper 212 Evo.

Thanks for all the help!
