Hey everyone!

What are recommendations for a basic Web Server build?
I understand that websites can be hosted virtually through GoDaddy, Monster, etc, but I would like one for testing purposes.
It doesn't have to be super great, and I have some spare parts, but I was thinking what it would take to get a server to a web address, even if there is little to no traffic going to that server.

I am a business man developing a company that will be something that hosts videos of my own companies creation, but this is to start off (since it is just me and a friend)

I have hardware and network knowledge, but anything up to the Webserver part I am a little lost.

Thanks!

EDIT::
I would also like to know any information on high traffic websites, and what it takes to run them. Again, I'm computer savvy, but not... Web-business savvy? If that makes any sense.

Thanks again.

If your expected volume of traffic is very low, you can build the cheapest thing ever and it'll work just fine. Or heck, go recycle some computer.
