I accidentally posted the wrong list before but can't edit yet because it's going through the mods.
It has become quite a bit over my original budget of £800 I'd like to know thoughts on this list and any ideas on making it cheaper please??
I will be using 3D software/image editing: zbrush, 3ds max or maya or blender, adobe CS6/CC various image and web editing software (and the usual usage of internet, watching movies, and maybe light gaming)
I am completely new to this and my boyfriend/reddit compiled the list i'd just like more opinions.

Less RAM for one. Go with 8GB.

And any reason why you chose a Xeon?

Thanks and I was advised that Xeon is like an i7 for an i5 price and i need the threads and hyperthreading for the work I'm doing.

You should probably look into seeing if AMD's FX-8350 competes, because that performs pretty well for its price in multi-threaded tasks.
