So I'm brand new to this forum and to this website, and am looking for some help.
From the time that I was able to buy my own computer (about 5 years ago) I've been a Mac user, and its about time I turn to PC.
My desktop is getting quite old and it's about time that I start looking for a new one.
I've heard bits and pieces about building my own computer from friends, but have no idea where to start.
So first off, what exactly should I do to start this process? I figured I should have some things in mind...
My budget is pretty flexible, but ideally, I'd like it to be somewhere within the $800 to $1,200 range.
I'm fresh out of college with a Graphic Design degree, but also a bit of a gamer.
I don't need to run anything on the best possible graphics, I'd just like a setup where I won't have to worry about my graphics card being outdated for a good chunk of time.
Anyways, anything you guys can tell me will really help me out.
edit: I've been doing some looking, and playing around with pcpartpicker. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1osEG
Some feedback on this would be great!
