So I'm taking the motherboard and components out of an old Dell XPS studio 8000 and putting them into a NZXT case with a new power supply. The problem I'm having is that the new case had the typical connections but the old motherboard doesn't have the appropriate ports. No places to put the Reset SW, and the 3 LED leads. There is a spot for the Power SW lead but connecting it wont allow me to power on the PC. What the mobo does have is an FP1 port that the power button from the other case connected to. I tried running power to the motherboard and connecting just the button from the other tower to it, but it still would not power on. I've looked at typical troubleshooting guides, all the power cables are connected to the mobo, i tried switching out the ram, one by one, counted and recounted the mounting screws and spacers, its all in order. I get an orange LED on the motherboard, but nothing else. no sound, no fans, nothing. Do I need to get a new motherboard for my new case?

Case is a NZXT Hades
Motherboard is a X231R
