Ok so this is my first computer build but by no means computer illiterate. Off the bat I could not get the HDMI output to work with my TV on first power up so i pulled out an old monitor and used a dvi to vga adapter and it worked. So i went along with the computer set up thinking i would have to install the driver first to actually get the hdmi output to work and ya da ya da. After all set up is done now I still can not get HDMI to work through either hdmi output or through DVI with a DVI to HDMI adapter. When I have my old monitor hooked up and have the hdmi going to my tv it does recognize the tv in the Nvidia control panel and recognizes the connector as being HDMI-HDTV and give me resolution, refresh, and color control but still no display on TV.
WTF am i doing wrong.

-Next I called EVGA......while very helpfull they havve no clue as to the issue

- Now I have removed and reinserted the video card and reinstalled latest driver

Still no help

have you set up the hdmi port that you are using on the tv? it needs to be selected in the setup on the tv to work. and the nvidia software needs to be set up with the tv as a second monitor, my panasonic that is hooked up to a 570 loses its connection and does not show up as hdmi connected on a regular basis, useually I just pull the cable on the tv and reconnect it, and it shows as an hdmi connection again, then I have to set it up in the nvidia software again.

I only use it for watching movies, and I have to drag it from the monitor to the tv every time. using windows media player.

I have a Samsung 55' Smart tv and have gone through the entire menu and there is nothing that should stop the port from working or anything like you are referring to. I did just for shits and gigs unplug and replug it though and still nothing.

I didn't see it explicitly done, did you do the multimonitor setup through Window's display properties?

I did not do it actually but I did see them both identified through Nvidia control panel but I just did do it thought windows display properties and it still shows my samsung tv as one of the monitors and when i click identify it still will not push anything to my tv. Note: its not just this Samsung tv, i have also tried it with another tv as well.

Also don't buy from Monster. ;3

Well, seriously, don't. They're overpriced and throw in marketing fluff that doesn't do jack to the product.
